Ady's First Easter

My beautiful baby girl with my amazing husband on Easter Sunday! She did so well at her first Easter service. She enjoyed looking around at the people and the sun shining in the church. She even was able to get in a little nap. I don't think life can get anymore perfect, I am truly blessed. We are blessed to have such a loving, supportive family. Although a little scary and stressful during the first month, it was all worth it. Adelyn is such an amazing, good baby. She loves watching us, she smiles at the silly faces we make, and even acts like she wants to laugh (probably because she can't believe we are her parents). She is changing everyday, it is hard to believe she is almost 12 weeks old! Mommy and daddy are feeling more rested, Adelyn has been sleeping through the night for several weeks now. She also has recently outgrown her newborn clothing. It was a sad day for me to pack away her clothes because it was my first realization that my baby is going to grow up. We love our Adelyn so much, and look forward to many smiles and laughter!

Our Peanut is already 2 months!

Mommy and her little angel in her first Bears shirt and jeans! As you can see her legs are a little short for the pants, but she still looks adorable.

I'm beginning to see a pattern with our pictures of Adelyn, she is always sleeping. Well she is adorable and pretty peaceful looking so I can't pass up on these shots.

We caught a quick smile while taking her 2 month photos on her frog in her first dress. We think she actually smiled at us yesterday, but she has yet to show us again. She does give us little smiles while falling asleep that are truly priceless.

These two photos are just hilarious so they have to be included! We spend our time just watching the funny expressions Adelyn makes, wow how times have changed!

Thursday was Adelyn's two month well child checkup, and she did great. She is 9 lbs and 12.5 oz! The doctor said she is looking great, and may not have to be classified as "preemie" much longer since she is catching up on some milestones. She also received her first set of immunizations which was a bit more traumatic for mom & dad than Adelyn. It is crazy to think we don't go back to the doctor until 4 months which is also the time I go back to work, and Adelyn will be going to daycare a few days a week. We visited the daycare on Thursday, and although we don't want to take her anywhere, we feel comfortable taking her to this location. Although Tim said the other babies looked like they could eat her since they were twice her size. We are quickly finding out just how fast babies grow! Looking back at Adelyn's hospital photos seem like a totally different baby, and we can now appreciate the fragility of the entire situation. We thank God everyday for our little blessing!
